PRIMAS submitted a memorandum, Policy Proposal Paper (Kertas Cadangan Dasar) to Honourable Prime Minister.

On 7 June 2026, with the kind support and facilitation of YBhg. Tan Sri Dato' Sri Dr. SA. Vigneswaran, President of the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC), YB Datuk Seri M.Saravanan, Deputy President of MIC, and Datuk J. Dhinagaran, Penang State Chairman of MIC, PRIMAS was given the opportunity to meet with the Honourable Prime Minister, Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim. PRIMAS extends its sincere appreciation to these MIC leaders for their invaluable support and assistance in making this engagement possible.

Representing PRIMAS were President TBhg. Dato' J. Govindasamy @ Suresh, Deputy President Mr. C. Krishnan, Vice President Dr. A. Sinnaiah @Seenu, Assistant Secretary Mr. K. Vijayaperumal, Committee Member Dato' Seri N.Ramanathan, and Committee Member Mr. S. Siva Rao.

PRIMAS would also like to express its heartfelt appreciation to its Patron, Tan Sri Dato' Ramesh, for accompanying the delegation, as well as for his continuous support, guidance, and unwavering commitment to the association.

Also in attendance during the engagement was Dato' Seri N.Gobalakrishnan, President of the Malaysian Associated Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MAICCI) along with MAICCI Team.

During the engagement, PRIMAS submitted a memorandum and a Policy Proposal Paper (Kertas Cadangan Dasar) highlighting the challenges faced by the Indian restaurant sector, particularly issues relating to the shortage of foreign workers and its impact on business operations. PRIMAS also sought the Prime Minister's support in addressing these matters for the benefit and sustainability of the industry.
