PRIMAS Committee Members Dato’ Seri N.Ramanathan and Mr. S.Siva Rao, together with PRIMAS Member Mr. M.Kathiresan, attended the “Mesyuarat Libat Urus Bersama Pihak Berkepentingan Berkaitan Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)” organized by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Penang.
The session, chaired by Tuan Mohd Suffian bin Mohd Abass, “Ketua Pegawai Penguat Kuasa Negeri” of KPDN Penang, focused on proposed amendments to Regulation 18 of the Control of Supplies (Amendment) Regulations 2021, aimed at strengthening policy and regulatory oversight of LPG.
PRIMAS shared constructive views and suggestions on the use of LPG within the restaurant industry, emphasizing the need for practical and sustainable regulations that support business operations while ensuring safety and compliance. PRIMAS also submitted a memorandum to KPDN, outlining key concerns and recommendations from the industry’s perspective.
